Screening call from HR Recruiter in LA. Passes me to the exec for scheduling and then makes strange comments about the executive for missing the interview "ugh, he's always doing that"...super unprofessional. (The exec rescheduled 4 times) Exec assistant was not gifted and kept canceling interviews. In total I had 7 in person interviews, one of which was off site for coffee, and met the top brass, one of whom was cool, the other stereotypically arrogant ( he asked me a question and then held his hand up like Miranda Priestly to me and said "no, not yet " as I began to answer. ) I did a special project (was not paid). After this absurdly unorganized and drawn out process, no follow up was ever extended to me. After a four month process and a month and a half of Emails being unreturned, I finally got the HR Recruiters boss who told me the job position was not moving forward. They made me jump through hoops and did not have the common courtesy to tell me the situation. They knew full well I was moving my busy work schedule around for them....Why have me meet top brass and blow me off? Just rude and disrespectful is what it is. So after 6 months, they call me out of the blue with a request for me to interview for a new position - 3 interviews and again, they disappeared. I had to use my own network of contacts to find out they moved the position out of NYC. Again, these people have no regard for a professional's time. I will never deal with them again. Apparently many changes are afoot there and the chaos is showing. I don't feel I missed out on a long term situation - I actually think I dodged a bullet.

I applied for a role and was aligned with the pay range until in the interview I found out that the range listed was not actually the range they were working with and there was a $100k discrepancy between the publicly listed range and the actual budget. Felt very bait and switch. The interviewer also did not have great deductive reasoning skills when asking me why one of my roles ended in 2020. Then I had to spend valuable precious moments of the 30 minute slot explaining COVID and not my skill set or background. Ultimately, I decided these were red flags happening early on in the process so I decided to not continue on with interviewing with this company.

Applied on the website, used lots of keywords in the application, got a call from HR for a phone screening interview. Then was invited for a zoom meeting with the head of the department
