J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez United Planners'

      Entretien

The hiring process I went through with United Planners is the worst I have ever experienced. I originally spoke with a recruiter who told me the job was hybrid/in office 2 days a week and gave the estimated pay but he said they were flexible on it. They had me do two one hour interviews over zoom and this raised some red flags. The woman I would have been working under explained that she left the company for a period of time and came back, which made me wonder why. Her manager/the hiring manager was the next person I interviewed with. He took the interview from home while wearing a t-shirt and having alcohol bottles in the background (decorative I think but still). When I referenced my conversation with the woman I would have worked under he mentioned that he would have to scold her about something I said. It was a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. When I asked what to expect for the remainder of the hiring process, which was my way of asking how many rounds of interviews are common here, they made sure to tell me they’re interviewing other people still. After that they kept me waiting, past what was supposed to be the start date and while constantly reminding me that they’re interviewing other candidates, even though I didn’t ask. After all that they extended an offer which was below market. The offer didn’t even mention hybrid so I asked HR and was informed that the role is fully in office for training and then you become ELIGIBLE for hybrid like MOST the office. Additionally, I found a job posting on indeed that said the role was in person. So this means they were playing dirty tricks to get me to be fully in office. If I had been given that information upfront I wouldn’t have even interviewed as my current role is hybrid. The offer letter goes into detail about wanting a two week notice if you resign, which I have never seen in an offer letter. I tried to negotiate the offer so the salary would come closer to what the industry typically pays for this role and they refused to negotiate and rescinded the offer entirely, even though negotiation is a normal part of the hiring process. They wasted hours of my time. Do not apply here unless you are the yes man they are looking for. They want a quality candidate for a cheap price and are easily offended by those who know their stuff and can advocate for themselves. If you do apply here, DO NOT negotiate. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to work here come performance review/raise time.
