I was called back for an interview almost 9 months after applying to the position. A panel of 5 administrators from different UN agencies were called in for the interview and each asked questions they deemed important for the job position related to previous work experience, skills, and the type of work culture/environment I was used to. After the interview, I was asked to complete a writing exercise, to create a spreadsheet with formulas in Excel, and a short presentation in PowerPoint.

The interview process was very hard and required real effort in your speeches and presentations. They would ask questions about your education and background. The interview process took a few days.
