      Entretien

      The location itself is confusing to navigate and was told to check in on one floor but was sent to another: that in itself felt unorganized. When you arrive at the correct floor, you are handed an availability form and told to wait with other people until the hiring manager is able to see you. I had no idea I would be in a group interview (Surprise!) so I was taken aback when the hiring manager called everyone in the waiting room up to follow her. My nervousness soon flew out the window as we paired up did role playing games and introduced our partner. Later came the individualized testing where you'd respond to potential customers by using google and navigating the company site which took about 45 minutes on the computer. Each person was then brought into a room to discuss job prospects! Before I knew it three hours or so had gone by since I had initially arrived and it was dark outside.

      I am happy to let you know that we have changed our seasonal hiring process to make arriving at the Brooklyn Army Terminal a little less confusing for next season. I'm glad that this did not cause much of a hindrance to you and that you accepted our offer. :)

      I was given a test, but I did mess up some parts due to kind of not trying to run out of time. I always applied to uncommon goods, but it seems like it's a tough interview process just to make $21/ an hour, and the position is only 3 months long, they seem to want you to not make any mistakes at all. I see nothing but bad reviews from former, current, and candidates. Good luck with your perfect candidates who have the same skill set as me.

      Thank you for your feedback and the time you devoted to the interview process. We receive over 1000 applications for almost every seasonal Customer Service role and do not get the opportunity to speak with everyone, even those who are qualified, before filling a very limited number of openings. That being said, we use assessments to verify applicants' at-home tech setup, written communication, logic reasoning in common customer service situations, and their ability to deliver support that is both high-quality and timely.       Extremely professional and friendly interview. Was asked basic questions about customer service. Had to complete two assignments beforehand that were very easy. Absolutely love the company and everyone was welcoming. Unfortunately I had to decline as the hours did not match with my schedule. Hope to work for this company in the future!

      Entretien

      The Recruiting Team informed me that the process could last 2-4 hours and would be conducted at company headquarters located within the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park. A group interview was conducted with about 20 other applicants followed by an assessment and then one-on-one interviews.

      Group interview (teams of 5) was an "open book" test and required applicants to respond to a series of customer service situations (angry customers, delayed delivery of products, return policy assistance, etc.) using the company website as a resource.
