J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Uber en févr. 2025
Entretien
The job posting and the recruiter highlighted skills that were considered a must, but during the interview process these skills turned out to not be relevant to the position at all. Other skills were of higher priority which put me in the unfavourable position of not being qualified enough for the role.
The first two technical interviews were on-point, smooth and two-sided. The last technical interview was one-sided with the interviewers being polite and respectful, but were unapproachable and showing too much superiority. No time was given to me to ask questions. The interviewers’ questions lacked attempt to understand skills and experience and instead focused on weaknesses.

The first step is recruiter call, then portfolio walkthrough with VP of design and another designer on the team, lastly a panel interview with cross-functional partners like PM and engineering. Because it was a mid level position so it only had 3 rounds

The interview went smoothly and felt good overall. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it through the first round. However, I haven’t received any feedback, even after reaching out personally—especially disappointing since the interview experience itself was quite positive.
