They mass hire. Unless you can't pass a background or drug test, if they call for an interview, you're hired. They discuss the job, say they will fire if you call off work (they dont), and you are told it could be ten years before you get a full time position. It's true, some work only 16 hours a week after 8-12 years.

No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.

No questions were asked as there was not an interview process.
Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
