Before my in person interview I had a phone interview. Just verifying information off your application and resume. Then the HR person will set you up an interview date and time. Once you get to the interview, you pretty much have the job. I was asked one question (why do you want to work for the US Postal Service?). The rest of the questions were pertaining to the job itself. Ex. Are you comfortable with working outside? Can you lift up to 70lbs? Do you have experience working in a warehouse setting? Etc. They may give you an option to choose your shift. If so, you're lucky. After all your paperwork is completed, you'll get an official job offer letter and your orientation schedule.

It wasn’t too intimidating. Background checks were conducted. Finger printing. A lot of formalities. This was prior to the holiday parcel rush so it was pretty quick easy and efficient. I don’t remember the interview process being too hard either.

The interview process was over an hour. They give you a specific time and date to attend. Once you get to the location, you would have to stand in a lobby til HR gets you. You and a group of others will go to a room where the interview will take place
