read off a screen of questions and had to answer them. Group interview then individual interview. The process is long and most correspondence is by e-mail. Veterans preference is given first and your postal exam score puts you in order of hiring.
I never had an interview I went to get my fingerprints done and they informed me that someone would get back to me to schedule me for academy. Academy lasted one week and was largely useless.

The interview was very short, not really much of an interview at all, actually. Moreso just to check if I had a pulse and was breathing. I could tell it was just to get a body in the room.

It was an easy one on one interview. Asked basic questions. Will use scare tactics on you during interview. Post Master was really nice but i felt like it was just a facade. All in all, it was a very very good experience.
