J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez UPS (Spartanburg, SC) en juill. 2011
Entretien
Initial communication was by phone call to ask if I was still interested in working for UPS. Once accepted, a time is set for an interview. During the interview, things that were asked were: 1) Why do you want to work at UPS? 2) Have you ever worked in a work environment that requires constant lifting and movement? 3.) Do you think you would have a problem consistently moving and lifting packages? 4.) Name a situation where you had to use teamwork to achieve a goal.
After the interview a phone call was received to confirm that I was still wanting to work for UPS. Then, a time for orientation was set. Orientation lasts a week, usually 3-5 hours a day (paid) and covers safety protocol, paperwork for the company, as well as rules, regulations, etc.

Mon entretien d’embauche a été très tranquille et simple. Je me suis senti à l’aise et pas stressé. Les questions étaient normales et la conversation était naturelle, presque comme parler avec des amis. L’ambiance était détendue et tout s’est bien passé.
They ask about your schedule flexibility and your ability to maintain an efficient working pace. Then, a manager briefs you on the possible tasks you would be asked to do.
There is no interview. you’ll get a job offer right after you apply then you’ll go straight to orientation on the date they give you and fill out a lot of paperwork. So basically just show up on the date and you got the job already.
