Applied online at the UPS site. Received an email 4 days later instructing me to arrive at the distribution center at a specific time. I arrived early to discover approximately 50 others waiting. About 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time the group was herded into an employee break room where the position and UPS' requirements were laid out. A third of the group got up and walked out throughout this process. After filling out some additional paperwork, the remainder of the group was herded back into the warehouse and told to stand in line and wait for an individual interview. I personally waited nearly 3 hours for my turn to be interviewed. The 'interview' was little more than verification of my previously submitted information and confirmation of my location. I was then informed that once the background check was complete, I would be contacted for training.
