Word out first - THEY DID NOT CONTACT ME AFTER APPLICATION.
If you want to work at UPS, you have to contact them and show interest.
I was interviewed for a job 3 days after i applied online only after I had called and reminded the staff i had applied, so i was immediately given a day to come in.
My interviewer had me and other participants wait together until it was my turn. He would ask simple questions like why apply for UPS? Can you handle light and heavy loads? Handle fast pace work while being instructed to go faster? Work safely? and so on.
(on a personal note, i had to go in for a second interview because the man who interviewed me, moved up in the company, and all the people he interviewed where discarded. LUCKLY i was persistent and would call back every other day. I set up another interview)
When being interviewed, the employer will offer you which position you would like most.
( Morning Shift(Twilight), Afternoon Shift, Night Shift)
( Job offers where - Loader, Unloader, Pick-off)
I had no idea what i was offered, so i picked Night Shift LOADER.
Loader = hardest worker and most pressure
Unloader = Unloading fast and leaving early
Pick-off or Sorter = Middle man that identifies and moves packages on a moving belt
After the 2nd interview, I was instructed to come into work for 2 week training before actual work.
