I had my first screening with HR recruiter for UNFI and she stated I was exactly what the team and hiring manager were looking for. She also stated I was her top choice for the position. She proceeded to tell me she would pass my information to hiring manager and I should hear back within 3 days to scheduled next interview with hiring manager. I waited a week before reaching out to recruiter again. Recruiter immediately responded and got me connected to her assistant to schedule interview with hiring manager. That interview was scheduled for 2 days later. Hiring manager asked me some basic skill based questions and I asked how I could improve my possibility of candidacy and manager noted nothing and that I was a great fit for the position. She told me I would hear back within 2-3 weeks. After 2 weeks I reached out to recruiter to see if there had been any updates and she stated the position was reposted because they expanded the position from central region to national. I asked what that meant and recruiter stated nothing and told me I should hear back within 2 weeks. It has now been another 3 weeks and still nothing. Even if I am not the person for the position you should at least follow up and tell me no. It is very unprofessional.
