I talked on the phone with the future employer and was able to get a Skype interview to get an understanding of the job and what I would be doing

Straight forward, used skype because I was abroad. It was with the marketing director, manger and other "bosses". Friendly and inviting, conversational interview but still asked about my work experience and relating that to what I would be doing
