After speaking with a recruiter and the hiring manager on the phone, I was invited for in-person interviews in Smyrna, GA on March 29, 2018. The interviews were strange to say the least and I was told that they will let make a decision in about 2 weeks. As of yet, I never heard anything back.
In addition, although the interview started at 8am and I was coming from out of town (3-hr flight), I was told that the company's policy was to fly you in and out the same day, which is ridiculous. I came in the night before and paid for my own hotel room, and submitted an expense report just for the transportation charges (to and from the airport). This was 6 weeks ago and as of yet, I am still waiting for the payment. I followed up by email and phone 3 times and they completely disregarded me. After this, I even wrote to the company's CEO and received a call from their HR department stating that they had trouble sending my information to the accounts payable group and then trouble entering my information in the system - for a month! She was going to "start the reimbursement process" a week ago and then mail me a check - via snail mail, probably so they can then blame the postal service for me not receiving the check. I asked that she FedEx me the check...of course I never received an answer back, nor did I receive the check. I wrote another email to the CEO last night and asked if they are in such financial difficulty that they can't reimburse candidates for their expenses - a meager $170. Radio silence. I am speechless!
