      Entretien

I applied for the position online and lived 800 miles away. I grew up in the Atlanta, GA area and explained to the HR lady that I was looking to move back to that area, which I was applying. First phone interview went great. Within 2 days, my 2nd phone interview was setup. That also, went great. My 3rd phone interview was with the manager in the department I would have been working in, I was told it went great. I was told by the HR lady in the first interview, that if I made it to the 3rd interview, I was going to get hired. Needless to say, the 3rd interview came and went. I never heard from the company again. 3 phone interviews, with 6 people, a written test, a knowledge exam and I didn't even get an email. I called the HR lady and left 3 voicemails and sent 2 emails over a 2 week period. Never received a single response or explanation.

      Entretien

This was almost 10 years ago - I applied for the Support Specialist position at the end of October 2011. On November 3, 2011, the recruiter called and I had an interview on the spot, on my cell, while I was staying late for work trying to finish a few things. Definitely not my best interview, in my opinion! 🙂 Tyler was on a hiring freeze, but the recruiter was just following up on leads. He just told me that he would call me back once the hiring freeze was lifted. Then, on November 18th, the recruiter called me back and let me know that that the hiring freeze was lifted and he needed two supervisory references. I sent those in and had an interview on November 30th. The interview process took about 2 hours and was with 4 different people (including the recruiter), about 30 minutes per person. My nerves were renewed with each person, but each person was very professional and easy to talk with. There were no trick questions, but I was definitely mentally exhausted after the 2 hours. The morning of December 7th, the recruiter called back and said that it was between me and someone else and that they wanted to have a second interview. So, I scheduled that interview for the afternoon of December 8th. However, the night of the 7th the recruiter called back and said that my interview was canceled - which was actually good news because, although he couldn't really say, he didn't want me to get ready for an interview the next day that I wouldn't need to go to but he didn't want to worry me - they were working on something for me, but it just wasn't ready yet. The morning of December 8th he called back and gave me an offer, which I accepted.

      Entretien

The process was a phone interview followed by 4 1 hour interviews. Each interview is tackled by two people. The interview process felt fairly long if I'm including the time between first contact and scheduling for a phone interview to the in-person interview loop.

      Question 1

Questions were relatively straight forward, there wasn't much that threw me for a loop. There were a lot of questions related to how I would approach supporting not only customers, but those internally too.
