J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Twilio (San Diego, CA) en nov. 2021

      Entretien

      1. Phone Screening Veeeery Common recruiter interview (Don't Feel special if you pass this filter, sometimes they dont know what they are looking for, recruiter told me I was a good match, I didnt think so but still applied (my bad?) Benefits Salary Range (They dont share the salary for the position, if you don't reply this they will kick you from the process) Job Description Questions about your CV and thats it 2. Take Home Test (Tech) (You can Google the questions and Answers) (They send the same questions to everyone meaning you are just another Candidate in the process) 3. Hiring Manager (Manager of the department you are going) Micromanagement questions just to check you are going to behave "Correctly" in the company and you have tech skills, they ask if you know about certain Protocols (Try to memorize everything, I guess their TSEs don't use KBs or Docs during the work) or Programming lenguages (Even for a position that is not to delevop) 4. Group Interview -TSE (They just barely know how to interview someone, they just read questions on screen and talk robotically be prepared!) - Another TSE (Again reading questions on screen related to the Tech you applied to. Again! Try to memorize things because they believe someone that memorizes everything is a TOP candidate) -Manager or Hiring manager (depends on the position or dept) (Again! They are going to check if you are a good kid and again why are you looking for a job (Besides the money, don't mention the money) -Someone from Higher Level (Tech Interview, did I mention you need to memorize everything related to the Tech you applied? Is a Huge plus if you are a living Google) -BAR Raiser (Waste of time, Parental Control questions and Twilio "Magic" BS reinforcements... Funny part is their own employees don't apply their values, Mentioned by a Friend that works there) 5. Email or Call from the Recruiter that feedback was good and they are going to take a decision ASAP 6. One week later, flowers to you but they are not going to continue (I didn't receive any feedback so I ask someone internally (Close Friend) told me they selected an internal candidate, guess this was not the right time to apply, this could happen to you, you are good fit for the position but they could select someone internal, probably they are collecting data from another companies or they just like to waste productivity time opening positions they can cover from inside, who knows?) Notes: This entire process took 8 HOURS from the beginning. Don't trust if they are friendly during the interviews, they can tell you are the indicated but probably you are not. Keep applying to other Jobs Be prepared, They can ghost you from the Phone Screening stage as recruiters have QUOTAS they need to achieve. Call Center environment (Not mentioned by me) Twilio is a Joke with all due respect, if you read the company feedback and interviews this happens around the Globe. If you have a Job, my suggestion is to stay away from this company Twilio. Only use them as an option if you are looking desperatelly for a Job. If you are lucky they will not mess around with you. Good Luck!

Ghosted after a poor interview with a guy from Medellín. Now there are several tasks to complete as a filter. Feels excessive and unfair. The call itself was underwhelming—rushed, distracted, and over before it really began. No chemistry, no clarity on the role, just a vague overview and a promise to "review and be in touch." That was weeks ago. Since then, silence. No rejection, no feedback, no response to follow-ups. Just the hollow echo of an unanswered inbox. Then came the tasks. Not one, but several. Designed, apparently, to "demonstrate capability" and "show commitment." A filter, they said. But a filter for what? A role that may or may not exist? A process that may or may not continue? There's no transparency, no timeline, no indication that anyone is actually reviewing the work being submitted. It's a one-way street. Effort flows out, nothing flows back. And yet, the tasks keep coming. Each one more elaborate than the last. Each one demanding hours of unpaid labor under the guise of "assessment." Meanwhile, the silence from Medellín persists. No check-ins, no updates, no acknowledgment. This isn't hiring. It's extraction. Free labor disguised as opportunity. Hope weaponized against desperation. And the worst part? You know it's happening, but you do the work anyway—because what if this one is real? What if this time they actually follow through? But they never do. The ghosting says everything. The tasks say the rest. It's not a filter. It's a firewall. And you're on the wrong side of it

      Question 1

They didn't ask much during the interview—just vague questions about experience. The real ask came after: complete several unpaid tasks as a filter. No feedback, no follow-up, just silence from Medellín. The work spoke. They never did.

Applied for the 5th time but still got rejected by automation. The advertise that a human recruiter analyze our CV but only ATS review and reject. I had all required skills and my CV matched 100% with the requirement but still got rejected. If human is reviewing then I am sorry to say but they are rejecting based on age, race, language or based on past experience in different industries. They advertise and I quote " Twilio values diverse experiences from all kind of industries and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply." but sadly they don't follow it. I applied for Technical Support Engineer 2 EMEA EMAIL role. *To the management of Twilio, if you any doubt on my knowledge and skills then take an interview and if I don't qualify or meet the requirements you publicly posted I will apologize publicly and accept the consequences.

The hiring process was highly unprofessional. My final interviewer didn’t show up, and the recruiter never addressed it or offered an explanation. This lack of communication and respect for candidates’ time is unacceptable.
