      Candidature

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Twilio en mai 2021

      Entretien

Recruiter first reached out for a phone interview then set up several (4-5) zoom interviews with people from the team. At the end, the interview panel will determine which final 2 candidates to take to the hiring manager. Overall, it took over a week to get through the entire process.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

They really believe in the Twilio Magic; focus on that. Come up with examples related to each value and how it fits into the role you are interviewing for.

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 8 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Twilio (Seattle, WA) en avr. 2022

      Entretien

I completed 8 interviews over 7 weeks, receiving a final answer on the 8th week. 1) Phone Screen with Recruiter 2) Video Interview with Hiring Manager 3) Phone Call with Recruiter to discuss interview next steps 4) Video Interview with a Senior Executive Assistant 5) Video Interview with a "Bar Raiser" 6) Video Interview with a Senior Director 7) Video Interview with the Recruiter 8) Video Interview with a VP I was told after the final interview that they would have an answer for me early the following week. I didn't hear anything until Thursday or Friday on the 8th week only to be told that while I was the top candidate and the team really liked me ("nothing but positive feedback"), they weren't able to hire anyone to fill the role because of "everything going on right now". The Recruiter told me that because I was a such a strong candidate she wanted to help me find a place. There have been multiple openings for similar roles but I have either not been considered or I don't hear back and eventually get an automated rejection email. Throughout this process, I turned down another offer from another company, for more money than I have ever made in my career, because I was being told that I was "the top candidate". I informed the Recruiter that I had turned down the offer and she dismissed it. That would've been a great time to tell me that "due to everything going on right now", I shouldn't turn down the other offer. That was my fault. Overall, it was a very long, emotionally draining process and it was ultimately a big let down.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

It was a very casual conversation throughout the interviewing process which I appreciated. Most of the questions asked were regarding my experience, situational and behavioral.
