Awful experience.
I got scheduled to do an introductory call with a recruiter and he never called at the time agreed. I was already on the fence about this company, but this experience told me everything I needed to know.

I was reached out by a recruiter, then had a call with the recruiter, then they asked me to do a 1-1 video call with the hiring manager. the overall process took way too long for it needed to be.

Question 1
Upon joining the call, the HM jumped right into the hypothetical research scenario and asked me to talk out loud about how I'd go about it. As absurd as the scenario was, the HM didn't take any time and effort to know about me as a researcher. I knew I wasn't going to move forward, but the worst part was getting the rejection email on Sat evening when I was enjoying dinner outside with lovely friends. So many red flags.
