Extremely transparent, the interview process with Truly took time, but I was made aware what was going on the entire time. I was given a heads up when I should expect a call and a follow up and was also given consistent feedback from the recruiter about what I should expect.
It started with a phone screening which was easily the most productive phone screening I have ever received, the recruiter gave me a great breakdown of the company, the role expectations and the company values.
I then received a follow up from the COO who did another screening, this is where I was able to fully understand the learning and development opportunities within the team.
While this was all happening the recruiter was giving me feedback and assisting in the process in any way that he could even though he was in and out of the doctors office. I never felt like I had to wait on him, he even called from the doctors office when I had a one off question.
I received a second follow up call which was much shorter and then was set up for an on-site. The on-site felt tailored for me, I made it aware early on that customer success was a big priority of mine, and the first portion of the interview was with the CSM. I then had a chat again with the COO, followed up by the CEO and then a presentation with the team. This gave me a great opportunity to understand where the team was aligned and how they were working together towards a common goal.
After the interview, I received a call the next day with feedback and a request for referrals. Once referrals were back I was set up with a time to discuss with the COO the decision and received an offer. The offer was in my inbox by the end of the day and I received a call from the recruiter to congratulate me around 6PM outside of his normal working hours.
My biggest take from this process with Truly was the sincere and genuine personality of the recruited and the overall transparency of the team from top to bottom.
Highly recommend the team from an interview and recruitment perspective and I will update in the future on my time in the workplace.

Question 1
On a scale of 1-10, 1 being an entry level sales professional and 10 a fortune 500 CEO where do you believe you?
Phone interview with recruiter who said he wanted to move forward with the next round. Never heard back from him for next steps. Frustrating to work with the type of people who don't do what they say they'll do, or just have the courtesy to communicate if something has changed.

11/8: A recruiter from Truly messaged me on LinkedIn and we scheduled a phone interview for the next week.
11/13: The phone interview lasted 20 minutes beyond the 30 min timeslot because the recruiter and I really hit it off. The talent team at Truly understood the SaaS and telecom industry really well, but also took a genuine interest in how I am as a human being and member of a workplace. She was very open about the company values, really had more of a conversation about them then simply listing them for me. She got me really excited about the idea of working with a fast growing company, but kept me grounded by some of the realistic expectations of working in a startup. We had a great time and I moved onto the next round!
11/15: I interviewed with a sales leader and we had a more focused conversation about my sales experience and the AE responsibilities. Just like the recruiter, the conversation was very down to earth, but personal. You could really tell they cared as much about cultural fit as technical experience.
11/21: Presentation: To gauge my professionalism and get to know me I was asked to create a 5 slide presentation about myself. I spent an hour making a slide show that showed who I was, detailed a good and bad deal I was worked, and outlined my ideas for a Truly case study. I presented the slideshow for the Sales Leader and the COO and they appraised me based on the slideshow, the way I presented, and general professionalism.
[Thanksgiving vacations]
12/4: Final Interview Super Day: My final step was a visit to the Truly office in SF for 3 interviews. They were a final interview with the Sales Leader, the CSO, and CEO. Each interview focused on different aspects of the job and my personality, but they were all pleasant. At the end I was told that they would review my case and let me know if I made it. The next day I received my offer.
Beginning to end the process took a little less than a month. However, it likely would've taken less time if Thanksgiving had not been in the middle.
