J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez TrueCar (Los Angeles, CA) en févr. 2015
Entretien
I had a phone screen first, which lasted roughly 30 minutes to an hour asking various questions about my background. I then had an in-person interview at my University's career center, which lasted roughly an hour. The person in charge of recruiting was very kind and followed up with me for the next steps.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Specific to technical stuff: I was asked questions about my technical background. In addition, I was asked to give an example of a cool project or significant coding challenge that I faced (and how I overcame it).

I had four interviews: Recruiter, Hiring Manager, Coding, and System Design. I had one of the best coding interviews I ever had with TrueCar. I was asked to create three functions, which I was able to do with time to spare. I then had enough time to refactor the code so that one function could perform the work of the other three and be called by them.
Afterwards, I received a rejection stating they didn't believe my knowledge of Ruby and React was sufficient. Mind you, I was never asked any React-specific questions. When I asked them to please tell me what I could have done differently, they refused to do so

I was invited to an initial interview, and nobody showed up. I attempted to reschedule and confirmed a date for the next week, however, was not able to get back in contact with my interviewer, and once again nobody showed up.

Talked to the recruiter and was completely ghosted out after that. No response to any of the follow up emails. A rejection email would have been helpful for candidates to honor the time they spend in submitting the applications.
I'm sorry you had that experience. When candidates aren't selected for the next round of interviews, they always receive email communication at a minimum. I think there's a good chance that communication may have been caught in your spam filter.
