1st) interview with fund ops team lead
1.5) excel proficiency test
2nd) Panel interview {senior, senior, director}
3rd) HR screening
Everything was great until the end of the panel interviews. I was told the final round would be an culture fit interview. Immediately thought this was bizarre, as the position is highly technical, compounded on the final round nature-- why would an HR screening be last?
To reaffirm-- everything was great, fluid, and reasonable until the final round. I was updated every week on my candidacy, and interview scheduling went swimmingly.

Entretien
There were 4 rounds of interviews and a case study. They asked many technical questions and excel knowledge. The case study was using google sheets. The interview process was fairly quick; it was about one month from beginning to end with an offer. At the end of all interview rounds, they do ask for references and they do contact all of them.

Very lengthy and time consuming. A phone interview, followed by an Excel exam, then an interview with several members of the team, concluding with an interview with a HR person
