Very thorough and formal corporate interview process. Internal HR team is great - responsive, and clear.
The first round interview is a video recording, which may be more time efficient for most (especially on the TruStage side), but it can be a burden for interviewees who lack a private, professional space. It's a nice idea, but an audio-only option would be far more considerate.
The external vendor running background checks at Sterling is awful - their record keeping is very poor so that when additional information is requested, it's rarely communicated throughout their team. So they may return to you multiple times with the same problem and it's very unclear and stressful.
