      Entretien

Interview process was brief, There was no complex questions. All the interviewers asked me predictable questions and i think my answers were generic. I tried to show my passion to the marketing and why I want to work in this company.

I was contacted by a recruiter based in Shanghai for an initial screening. Wet met via Zoom and they blocked an entire hour for the meeting, but it only last maybe 15-20 minutes. After this initial call, most of the communication was done via Whatsapp, which was fine with me. I had three more interviews: one with a team member, one with a cross-functional stakeholder, and one with the hiring manager. The interviews were pretty standard, but it was hard to gauge any feedback during the conversations. Some red flags that came up for me: - The coordination was frustrating. When the recruiter scheduled the subsequent meetings, they never told me who I was meeting with or what their title was. I was always had to explicitly ask for that information and even then they didn't give me last names or anything. This made it challenging to prepare for the interviews because of course I want to research who I'm about to meet with! - It wasn't until my final interview with the hiring manager that I found out I'd need to work Shanghai hours most of the time (I'm based in the US). This should have been clearly communicated from the initial HR screening or even listed in the job description. - While I was interviewing, the job title changed multiple times from Specialist to Manager to Associate Manager. Based on the job description and my conversations, it was clear that this role would have leadership responsibilities and drive strategy. The job title and salary didn't reflect this level of responsibility. - After my final interview, radio silence. Then randomly two weeks later a different recruiter from the UK who I had never spoken with emailed me to see if I was still interested in the role and that they would support with next steps. I responded and never heard back.

The interview process is relatively more straightforward than other companies. Starting from the hiring manager and after that interview with higher boss and the last step is the HR manager.
