Interviewed for the nurse residency program. I was called to set up a time, and then emailed about interview details. Questions were asked by a panel of management and nurse leaders (3 people) and then a peer panel (3 people).

You have a patient with a cultural background with the husband making all of the decisions. When the husband leaves, the wife tells you she does not want the procedure to be done that he wants done. What do you do?

Panel interview with multiple units, you get to talk to them for about 3 minutes. Then you get offers from each unit that wants to offer you a position. Must have a phone call interview before getting the in person.

nice interviewers. the interviewers were very professional. the interviewers were very straightforward and simple. i felt at ease the whole time during the interview. they made me feel comfortable and welcomed.

The interview was set up similar to "speed dating," so each person interviewing was able to interview with each unit for 5 mins each, and then transition to the next unit. I liked being able to interview with each unit, but as I now try to weigh my options between offers, I cannot remember which unit was which during interviewing.
