Shortlisted on resume from an online website. 2 technical interview rounds were conducted. Both were based on azure stack. Both interviews went on for 1 hour and were of medium difficulty.

Question 1
Questionss were mostly for azure stack. Azure data factory and databricks.
How does activities work in azure data factory, eg. Copy activity in depth. Lookup activity , get metadata activity , for each , if else. Etc.
For databricks,
Questions were based on unity catalog, data governance, delta tables, delta live tables and ETL concepts.
I first received a call from the recruiter regarding the Data Engineer role. After that, the interview was scheduled with the technical team. The discussion mainly focused on my previous project experience, SQL, Python, data pipelines, ETL concepts, and basic data engineering scenarios. The interviewer asked practical questions related to how I handled data transformation, joins, aggregations, and pipeline logic in my previous work. Overall, the process was professional and technically focused.

Question: Explain one data engineering project you worked on recently.
I explained a project where I worked on building ETL pipelines to process large datasets, clean and transform raw data, handle duplicates and missing values, and prepare structured data for reporting and analytics. I also explained how SQL and Python were used for transformation and validation.

Entretien
The interview process was conducted on campus in my college, it consisted of 3 round out of which 2 were technical and the last round was an HR round. Each interview lasted about 30 minutes and the interviewers were friendly and suppoortive throughout.

there is 3 rounds of interview first 2 round is technical round and last one is HR round technical round is more over related to sql and python you should have to good in syntax also in pandas and in sql like how to create and update and write query in sql
