J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Travis County, Texas (Austin, TX) en mai 2013
Entretien
Applied online through the Travis County career page. Took about 5 days for a call back. Interviewed with 3 senior clerks who were nice and cool. Process took 15 minutes. Easy, basic questions. Received call back same day.
Round table interview with 4 of the supervisors. Asked great questions, were friendly, provided feedback. It felt like a conversation not just a firing squad of questions. Overall they were all very warm and friendly and I had a great experience.

Question 1
More traditional questions: where do you see yourself in 5 years, strengths and weaknesses, are you a detail oriented or big picture person.

I applied January 13 got an interview 3weeks later. I didn't like the fact that they lied and said they would call if you got the job or not. The panel consisted of 4 interviewers. They kept asking the same questions in different ways and we had to write a short answer (2pages) question after the interview. I didn't see any faces that looked like mine which was a turn off and made me believe I was only there because EEOC. I spoke with one of my competition (he got the job) and he wasn't even qualified to interview (no experience in law enforcement that was required) so I guess the good old boy system in full effect.

There is a panel of supervisors who critique you. You are asked in for an initial review. Once you pass the first interview you are called back for a second interview. They check your credentials if you have a degree you must supply it and all relevant educations.
