Submitted resume to a recruiter, who in turn edited it and left out my relevant background. Was invited for a face to face and then told by recruiter after that they felt I was all over the place with my answers talking about things they did not see on the version of my resume they received. Lesson learned= be cautious if someone alters your resume.
