Entretien
The interview process is two-step. Candidates are invited to a corporate overview. After the presentation, candidates fill out a form to indicate their level of interest. From there, a Senior Marketing Director (SMD) reaches out to arrange for a follow-up; they ask about you, your experience, and why you want to work for Transamerica.
If an offer is made, you must provide a minimum of three professional references and pass a background check.

What is your motivation for entering the finance industry and/or your interest in Transamerica?
What are you ideas for generating interest in your services?
Do you understand this position requires you to be licensed? (This can take 3-4 weeks to complete)
Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn and we set up an interview with no application process. One of these commission-based, no-experience-required things. That guy and his mentor talked to me for an hour with a whole presentation, and it ended with an offer to become one of their clients if not an advisor.
Very calm, and easy. They just want to get to know you at first. It isn’t as much as an interview as it is a conversation to see if that want to take the next step

Get an insight of the business, learn about the structure, and compensation potential. It may be for some people but I’m still deciding if it’s for me. It was very reminiscent to a mlm structure so that kind of made me second guess if it was something I wanted to do but it may be for someone.
