Submitted CV and took two practical tests via email. Also spoke briefly on phone with their recruiter (who was very nice). I was then invited to a physical interview and this was where things went downhill. Was interviewed by two very rude and unbothered ‘Managers’ who were late & asked ridiculous and nonsensical questions for around 2 hours - they left at one point mid-interview for about 30 mins (to get a coffee, who knows?) and left me to make small talk with one of their visiting employees from New York about tourist attractions and places to go in the city ? Was all very strange and showed a huge disregard for my time and the purpose I was there for. They asked barely anything about qualifications/experience or things related to the role, seems they were just rolling through a list of silly questions that are assumed to test your creativity but are actually more like a children’s nursery exercise and not something you would expect to be asked repeatedly in a professional interview. Also stressed many times that the role is extremely ‘fast paced’ and do I prefer money/career or a social life - Red flag!! They then wanted me to complete another test exercise and by this time I had been in their office all morning and was completely fed up. Absolute waste of time, shocking disregard for the time and effort put into the recruitment process by applicants and judging by their employee reviews it doesn’t get any better once they’ve hired you.
