J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Trader Joe's (Boston, MA) en nov. 2014

I printed out an app online, filled it out, and brought it into my local store. I told one of the manager's that I wanted to apply for a job and he just asked me why Trader Joe's? He then gave me his card and told me I'd hear back in about 2 weeks. 3 weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything so I called the store to check up on the status of my app. Another manager told me they're still currently reviewing apps and I'd be notified what the next step will be in a week or 2. Over a month passes and it's already been about 2 months since I first went into the store when I got a letter in the mail saying they declined my application. Trader Joe's is different than many other supermarkets because they pay better than anyone and the people they hire tend to be more qualified. So it's not as easy to get a job there and I think what hurt my app is that I could only work a few hours a weeks because I already had another job and I'm still in high school so it wouldn't make much sense to them to hire me over adults with more time.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.

Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
I had 3 separate interviews. 1 was over the phone. 2 were in person. I never heard anything after the third interview. I called the store about a week later and they let me know they didn’t actually have any available positions. Really felt like they wasted my time.
