J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Trader Joe's (Des Moines, IA) en janv. 2015
Entretien
I turned in my application in person as there is no online app. A mate (ASM) talked to me for a few minutes on the spot; it was extremely casual and I thought it went really well. He seemed to be checking to make sure I could hold a conversation. He promised to call by the end of the week.
When I didn't hear anything, I called back that next Tuesday. A different manager set me up for a second interview with the same first mate I had spoken with. I was happy because he seemed really laid back and I thought for sure I had the job.
The second interview was lengthier, but equally as easy. He asked what I did for fun, what I was studying in school, what my favorite season is, etc. Random questions that had nothing to do with the job. After the "interview" he once again promised to call by Friday (4 days later).
Didn't hear back again so I called to see what the deal was, and a random manager said "oh, well we've decided to end the interview process with you here" and basically thanked me for my interest.
Very unprofessional to never get back to your applicants, I'm sure I didn't get the job because I had to stalk the store to even get any response on their end.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
What's your favorite season? What do you do for fun? What products do you like from trader joes?
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.

Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
I had 3 separate interviews. 1 was over the phone. 2 were in person. I never heard anything after the third interview. I called the store about a week later and they let me know they didn’t actually have any available positions. Really felt like they wasted my time.
