J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Trader Joe's (Huntington Beach, CA) en août 2015

I applied in person and spoke with the “Captain” (GM) of the store to schedule an interview for the following week on a Wednesday. When I arrived for the interview (15 minutes before), I met with two managers (there’s at least 5 managers under the GM) and we went to a donut shop located a couple stores down. It’s kind of awkward having an interview in a public place with people watching, but this being my very first job interview I was extra nervous! The managers were very nice and told me not to be nervous, and asked me a couple of basic interview questions. The whole thing lasted maybe 10-15 minutes. After that, we shook hands and they went back into Trader’s and I sat outside a sandwich shop next to the donut shop with my family talking about the interview. A few minutes later, one of the managers who interviewed me called me over and hired me!
Applied online and had one in person interview with the captain. It lasted maybe 10 minutes. Got a call a week or so later that I got the job. Very fast process.

It's two to three interviews, the final with the Captain (or highest manager) of the store. The interviews are largely to get to know your personality and how well you would do at customer service.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.
