I walked in my completed application to the Trader Joe's I desired to work at. After handing in my application and talking to one of the assistant managers, I was handed a card with the assistant manager's name and store contact into and given a time frame of when they would contact me for an interview. They called me back within the time frame they mentioned, and scheduled me for an interview with one of the assistant managers. After my first interview, I was called back for a second interview with the manager the next day. Incredibly nice and non-intimidating people to interview with. Genuinely looking to find hard-working, friendly and positive people to work for them.

It's two to three interviews, the final with the Captain (or highest manager) of the store. The interviews are largely to get to know your personality and how well you would do at customer service.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.

Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
