Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Trader Joe's

From the beginning I was really excited to join Trader Joe's, I had heard about the benefits and decent wages while I was in college. After submitting my application in the store I was quickly screened and asked why I wanted to work with Trader Joe's, I mentioned the mooches, and showed a lot of excitement and energy. I was told that I'd get a call from someone in a couple of weeks but two days later I made sure to call, and ask about my status and mentioned I was ready to start asap. They said they would have someone call me back after reviewing my application. I finally got a call 2 days later to schedule an interview and arrived 20 minutes early. I was told to walk around the store, and figured someone was watching me so I looked at some of the products and interacted with some fellow shoppers, to show I was friendly. I finally was introduced to my interviewer and began the interview in a private room. After talking to the first person, I was told I would meet a second interviewer and also the captain of the store, after meeting her I asked about her lifestyle and how she felt working here. If the company took care of her which she appreciated and explained that Trader Joe's could become a long term career. She hired me that day and gave me information about my orientation dates 2 weeks later. Very easy process and as long as you can communicate well, you'll have the job.

Two official interviews each with two staff. Interviewers were friendly and the questions were typical of any interview. Know why you want to work there and be familiar with their company values/environment and you'll be just fine. If they don't offer a job on the first round but you interviewed well, they'll recommend you reapply at another date (generally when they have more openings).

I dropped by and filled out their written application and handed it to the Mate.
He was very nice and gave me his business card and said they would reach out soon.
I received a call to come into interview approx 2 weeks later. I arrived 20 min early and and checked in with the Leadership desk. I waited and was greeted by a Crew member that lead me to a warehouse area 3 floors above..
3 folding chair set up, 2 facing 1.
Another crew member joined us.
I thought the conversation with these two very nice and cordial individuals went really well..
Walked away feeling really confidant.
I received a letter saying I was not chosen and that they were thrilled I was interested and they hope I will continue to shop there.
I wish I would have at least gotten feedback as to why I wasn’t chosen instead..
All I can imagine is that I’m over qualified, or my age has something to do with it...
I shopped today at Trader Joe’s, I did not see any employee with a smile or any customer engagement throughout the store..
My check out experience was basically Blah, no smile or Good Morning. I looked around and still did not see one smile amongst any of the cashiers.
He said Paper or Plastic bags?
I said paper..
After all the research I did and my excitement I had about this company, I realized none of these employees are engaged..
Employee engagement with customers are the key in WOW..
It’s great to have a valuable product.
If the experience is just ‘Blah’ when you go there, than you are not offering Good Customer Service..
Just my take on it!

It was a quick interview. Go prepared to answer a lot of questions about yourself as far as your personal hobbies and interests. I was interviewed by 2 people at the same time, 1 male 1 female. The woman was attentive and leading the interview. The guy just sat there, seemed bothered and a bit impatient which made me nervous. He asked a couple of questions but the way he worded them seemed like he was trying to figure out if I was being truthful about my past work. Something about him threw me off which looking back on it now I think it's why I wasn't offered the job.
