A company that seems to highly appreciate a family-like atmosphere. They actually built their new building so upper management would be on the same floor as shop workers so no one felt they had to "go up stairs" to talk to the boss. Liked the company. I hold no resentment for not landing the job with Torotel, sometimes the fit just isn't right from one or both sides and that is ok and fair. The BIG catch, is I felt they were highly inappropriate and unprofessional to not let me know I would not be getting the job. I went through 3 rounds of interviews. A digital question neer. An initial phone interview with 2 people, and in house interview with an HR rep and a manager, then a third in house interview that lasted, 3 hours made up of 4 rounds of pannels, 2 people each, up to the VP then a 1 on 1 with the CEO. After which, and a thank you email, and two phone calls over several weeks- as to not be inappropriate- there was no word at all. Again, no hard feelinga in not getting that job, but there are multiple reviews for this company where this was the case- unprofessional flow up. If you are going to ask someone to provide such a large amount of their time, at least be respectful enough to inform them by phone or email they would not be moving forward.
