Interview was average to easy. HR person and hiring manger we both late for phone interview by 10-15 minutes. At one point, hiring manager told me he would have to make a decision between candidates and hoped the person he selected could do the job well! The prior person in this role had not done well according to the manager. I imagine the cavalier hiring process must be why they have such high turnover. Both the employees I interviewed with speak English as a 2nd language so they can be challenging to communicate with. They were both very nice and professional though. A week after interview, hiring manager called and among other things asked if offered when could I start. I told him I could start that week as I was currently available. He told me he would give me his decision the next day. A week later I had not heard back and emailed the HR manager. She told me the hiring manager had chosen the other finalist over me.
