Attended online interviews. Interviewed for an ID position in Dublin. Made it to round 4. First 3 rounds were basically identical...same questions and interactions. Felt like a bit of a time waste but it is what it is. For round 4 had to prepare a basic task for which you had 15mins to present to the panel. Wasn't given 15 mins in the actual 4th interview (more like 5), followed by some questions and banter which was actually very friendly and relaxed. I was requested to share my project files with the recruiter for verification, which I did. I followed up twice regarding if the recruiter managed to access my files as I know sometimes certain portals are blocked by company firewalls. Never got a response. Received a declination mail 2 days later. What's worse is my requested files were never accessed or downloaded for verification as requested. I know this as the portal I used sends a notification to the uploader once the files are accessed. So what was the purpose of uploading my files then if they were in fact never gonna be verified or checked? Neither do I know if maybe there were download challenges on the recruiter's side I could maybe have rectified as they tell you to upload it via any portal. Alas, not a totally negative experience but being ghosted on questions isn't a pleasant experience.
