Went through 4 rounds of interviews. All went well seemingly, and was receiving positive feedback throughout, but then was suddenly ghosted after being told a Hiring Manager was going to reach out to me the following day. All of my follow-up attempts went unanswered; highly unprofessional. Also noted: One of my interviewers was hyper-focused on one company I had worked at almost 4 years ago, in a position that had nothing to do with my current field or the position I was applying to. Not sure what the agenda was here, but made me feel very uncomfortable because the questions became increasingly more personal in nature. Was asked almost nothing about my current job or the duties performed there. In the future, TikTok should make sure the people performing the interviews are only asking questions relevant to the job itself and relevant job experience the candidate has.
