The interviewer was polite, and the conversation started off well. The interview was originally scheduled for 45 minutes but ended up stretching to 180 minutes with detailed, use case–oriented questions. A few days later, I followed up with HR, who informed me that my profile was shortlisted. After that, complete radio silence—calls went unanswered, and emails were met with vague promises like, “I’ll get back to you by EOD”, which never happened. 19 days later, after another follow-up email from my side, I finally received a generic rejection email.
Advice: Don’t waste your time interviewing with companies that don’t respect a candidate’s time. There are plenty of good companies out there that do.
