It started with a 30 mins discussion with the recruiter. There were 4 rounds of interviews, 2 technical followed by Leadership and Social Change Round. Before every interview details were provided about how the different interviews will be used to assess the candidate. The first two technical rounds were ok. However the leadership round was just like an extension of the technical round. I was told it would be discussion, but I was given only 10 mins to ask my questions and doubts. The leadership round interviewer kept turning his camera on and off and was having lunch parallelly. The Social change interview did not make sense and was too idealistic. I cleared all the 4 rounds however, there was no clarity on the position. On my request a special 30 min Q&A round was set up. I realized that the role, position and the responsibilities were not aligned. Throughout the interview process I was told we are considering your candidature for both Principal consultant and Lead consultant level. However towards the end I was told only a lead consultant position is available. I decided not to move ahead due to mismatch of the position offered and my relevant years of experience.
