FIRST OF ALL: This is not a research analyst position. This is 80% cold calling as informed by the employees. Brief telephone interview, competency based; teamwork and collaboration and a time I had a conflict within a team. Then straight to the final interview in the firm; First part was 60 mins with 2 employees which involved a LOT of questions, mainly competency based. A time I had to meet a tight deadline, a time I failed to meet a tight deadline. Then a case study presentation which was kind of a brainstorming with the other 2; a fictional firm where I had to break down the value chain, i.e. external stakeholders and how I could receive information on the firm from those stakeholders to see how the fictional firm is performing. Finally another 40 mins interview with 3 employees, more questions such as a time I failed and disadvantaged the team with that mistake.
