I applied for this role on LinkedIn and received an email from the TA Coordinator a few days later to schedule a video meeting with the TA Director. Since I am not local to the Hong Kong area, I was excited to hear more about the role and what it would entail. Right off the bat, I did not receive a warm or inviting vibe from the Director. Her interview questions were extremely cut and dry. After I responded to every question, she would respond with, "hmm... okay." As the video meeting continued, I felt she was a little condescending. At that point, I had already determined that this was not a role that I would want to pursue based on my impression of the Director thus far. A few days later, I received the generic "thank you for the interest but we will be proceeding with another candidate" email which was more of a relief than anything.
