Applied online. Was then emailed by someone from The Skin Clique requesting an interview. I was sent a link to go through a self-guided video interview process, in which I needed to record myself answering a series of questions. I had the opportunity to rerecord most answers if I wasn't happy with them before submitting them, though one or two were one-shot responses. While an easy platform to learn how to use, I was struck by how impersonal this process was. It screamed "we don't have the time or interest in speaking to you directly." I got my responses in well before the deadline, and the person who initially reached out replied, thanking me for doing the interview and telling me that I'd hear back from them within a few days. Then I got totally ghosted. Days passed and I finally reached out for an update. This person didn't bother to respond at all. I was never formally rejected, just didn't ever hear back from them. This was already weeks ago now. Do not waste your time with this joke of a company. How they treat candidates speaks volumes about how they likely treat employees. Unprofessional, unserious. Stay away.
