I received invitations to take the personality and cognitive ability assessments about 2 days after applying. A few days later, I heard from the recruiter and we had a phone screen, during which I also learned the results of my personality assessment. Immediately after, I was scheduled to speak to the hiring manager via phone, which took place about a week later. About a week after speaking to the hiring manager, he emailed to give me an update on timelines and future expectations. About 2 weeks after that (and in line with the previously stated timelines), I got an invitation to interview in person, as well as details about an assignment to complete and present on-site. My on-site interview consisted of five 30-minute 1:1 interviews, including one interview focused on the cultural values of PI, as well as 30 minutes to present my assignment and answer questions. It ended with a 30-minute 1:1 with the recruiter to learn about timelines, benefits, etc. Two days later, I received an offer from the recruiter. Overall, this process was streamlined and fast compared to the processes I encountered with other roles in this field. Everyone was friendly and genuine.
