the final interview was an ambush but an individual who had clearly decided that they did not want to employ me - even though he was not part of the reporting line and the job went to someone he was friends with. He was aggressive, argumentative, dismissive and made me happy to never have to work with him, though the rest of the team were really nice and I would have loved to have worked with them. There were clearly lots of internal politics at play. This was after a number of face to face and online interviews including a presentation and intense questioning but others in the organisation.
