I applied online in September 2014 and after 4 days I received an invitation for a assessment day. I choose Washington DC. There were about 60 people waiting. The assessment consisted first of an orientation, discuss benefits, salaries, Dubai etc. Later everyone hand-in the Resume and a portrait photo. Everyone were divided in 2 groups for 4 stages of the Assessment process/ group activities (they evaluate how you interact, how you communicate, how work as a team in a various of group tasks, etc).
Later there's a reach test” In this round you need to reach 212cm, the recruiter pasted a paper (in which has a horizontal red line draw) in the exact height (212cm)on the wall and if you can’t reach by touching the line (in tip toes) you are disqualified. Then, if your education is not in the USA, you will need to take a English test. In every stage the recruiter will eliminate until a selective of people will have the Final interview the next day. We were 9 out of 60.
On the final interview, is more like a conversation, they ask pretty easy questions regarding customer service and traveling. You would need to bring along 1 full length professional/business attire photo (4×6), 1 profile professional photo (4×6), 1 full length casual photo (4×6), 1 half-body casual photo (4×6) and 6 passport photos.
After the final interview you have up to 6 months to hear from them. They'll call you but you can find out first by checking your application online status, if it changes to "Joining Formalities" congratulations, you got the job (It might take some time though). My status changed a week later after the final interview and received the golden call 4 days later. And my Date Of Joining (DOJ) was on December. Yes, it takes time. Mind that you still need to send some more documents, medicals forms, and get vaccinated. This is why it takes long...
