Entretien pour Customer Service Representative (CSR)

      9 sept. 2021

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez The Cigna Group (Baltimore, MD) en août 2021

      Entretien

I applied to Cigna in June 2021 and did not hear back until August 2021 from a recruiter. The recruiter was enthusiastic and bubbly, I enjoyed talking to her. I passed the phone screening and it went all downhill from there. I was scheduled for a virtual interview with 2 managers in the Family Plan department. I know people may tell lies or stretch the truth, but I am NOT lying. You can not believe me if you want, but this truly happened. The 2 managers did not even show their face, they had their camera off with a picture of them the ENTIRE time. However, I was required to have my camera on. How can you interview with someone you cannot see? I tried to provide the names, but I was not permitted. The other interviewer NEVER spoke a word. Creepy and very unprofessional. I was not even asked interview questions, she told me about the process of being fired. She said 5 call outs are allowed a year before termination, mandatory overtime up to 15 hours in addition to your 40 is required at times, you cannot take time off at all in January, said you are on a strict schedule of when you take calls and go on break, then asked if I agreed to all of the requirements. I said I did because I did not want to be rude, interview ended. I received a call the next day from the recruiter offering me the position, but I turned it down. That was by far the most unprofessional interview I have ever been on and I am not working 55 hours a week. Oh I forgot, the schedule they wanted me to work was 11:30am to 9pm, so I would have been either working also on my days off and/or later than my schedule. Further, there is weekend rotation with 1 possible day off during the week unless they call you in. WOW! No wonder you guys are hiring. I turned down the offer, people please don't forget, you are interviewing them just like they are interviewing you.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez The Cigna Group (Bengaluru) en avr. 2026

      Entretien

I was referred through a friend. And on the next day i had to give the in office interview. I was fully prepared and the interview went very good. the interviewer was impressed by my answer and it was evident enough. by the end of the interview the interviewer did ask me about the person who refer me and about the CTC that i last had in my previous organization. and just then Interviewers face went low and he became serious for no reason. though he was talking to me professionally, but he was a bit skeptical and was asking me unnecessary question that was not even related to the role or the process. Later the only reason why they rejected my application was because my previous package was higher then what they had a budget for this role. I agreed with the offer, but still they were concerned as the the interviewer had a very off mindset with the person who referred me. and without giving any feed back, they just kept an email stating that my profile doesn't aligns with the requirement. and technically i have 4+ years of experience in Customer Consultant for B2C, B2B and C2B customers with SaaS and Telecom tools. I felt very bad, as they really bought there own personal agenda in between a candidate and the job the candidate is applying for.
