I had two interviews, one formal and came back for a “working interview” and realistically an interrogation. I was of course nervous which was compounded by the Dr. breathing down my neck/staring at me while attempting to draw blood (from medial saph {w/o a butterfly cath} when I’m used to jug sticks- which I was told they *don’t* do), along with every other move I made. While I knew it wasn’t a good fit; the whole clinic operation and vibe just seemed sketchy. The offer I received was absolutely insulting considering I nearly started at that rate >13.5 years ago, so if you don’t mind being broke or just 💕🐱 and have a partner who can support you then apply away! [btw: the DVM knew what my current salary was at the time and would his offer would have ⬇️ my salary by well over $10,000/year. 😤
