Interview and application process was very easy and straight-forward. I applied for the job by sending in my resume and a writing sample. I was contacted within a week by the hiring manager indicating that I was a strong candidate for the position. As someone who is a college student with not a lot of experience on my resume, I was very pleased to hear this. They indicated that I was to complete a writing skills test, which boiled down to writing a sample article on a similar topic to what I would be writing about should I get the internship. I had 48 hours to complete this step. After emailing my completed article, I was contacted after 4 days and asked to set up an interview time. The interview was held on Zoom, and it was very intuitive. The interview lasted about 15 minutes and didn't contain any unexpected questions. Overall it was a very positive experience.

What about The Borgen Project appeals to you? Why are you interested in this position? Do you have experience working remotely?
It was a very simple interview. No surprise questions. A very short interview only lasted 10 minutes or so. The interviewer did not ask many follow up questions. Just read the questions off a list.
I met virtually with interviewer. They asked basic questions about my level of experience and why I wanted the position. They also allowed plenty of time for any questions I had.

Easy overall, just ask background and why you want to write. Pretty sure they take everyone that applies and is somewhat competent. Any position has similar result, not just writer position.
