Entretien
The interview process I experienced was a standard interview process. The franchisee-run stores manager asked relevant questions.
However, new staff employed under the corporate stores (new) manager went as follows:
Step One: Shop floor pass through - whoever the senior member of staff was on the floor at the time would receive the resume and ask a few questions - immediate NO for anyone without retail experience, does not shop at TBS/is not familiar with the products, does not wear make up.
Step Two: Standard interview with whatever available member of staff is on hand - mostly management, but on one occasion was a customer consultant.
Step Three: Shop floor interview. Candidate must 'sell' the manager some products. If the candidate cannot sell like a used car salesman, or have knowledge of the products, they will not get any further.
Step Four: Phone call interview with the district manager.
This is overkill for an entry level position.
I was asked a few basic questions by phone and then asked to come in for a laid back face-to-face interview. I was then asked to come back for the shop floor trial with the other interview candidates where we had to perform a series of tasks. It took them 3 weeks to send me a rejection email which I thought was very poor.

Entretien
A 45 minute trial shift where they got you to interact with customers as if you worked there and give a hand and arm massage to a customer to try and sell an item. Very straight forward and they were looking to see if you follow what they ask.

the process was friendly, the first rounnd was phone interview followed by in person interview. the roles and responsibilities were east to follow . over all it was an easy and smooth eexperience.
